2008 Robot


Name: "The '08"
Status: Operational.

  • Summary: This robot is like a small forklift. It has an arm on to knock down excercise balls, and picks them up with a circular claw. The claw moves up along a track, and drops the ball to score.
  • Frame: Welded aluminum square tubing.
  • Drivetrain: Three wheels on each side controlled tank-style. The middle wheels are offset. Powered by four Large CIMS.
  • Game motors: A large CIM at the base of the robot powers a spool, which raises and lowers the frame.
